We are excited to announce the first workshops for Into the Box 2022. We plan to offer 5 or more workshops, while we decide on the final workshops, we're happy to announce the first 4.

In Previous years at Into the Box we have done 1 day and 2-day workshops and all of the workshops have been well attended, with some standouts that sell out every year. Since we have added several of our biggest and most popular workshops like ColdBox Zero to Hero and Hero to SuperHero on CFCasts, we have room for new workshops. We are bringing back some of the most popular workshops like Containers/Docker & CommandBox & Testing with new and updated content, and some of the workshops are brand new like Async Programming and Scheduling with the man Luis Majano himself, and Legacy Code Conversion where you walk through our Migration process we work through with so many Ortus Clients.

Confirmed Workshops

Check out the course descriptions at the bottom of this post

  • Async Programming & Scheduling
  • Containerizing & Scaling Your Applications
  • Legacy Code Conversion To The Modern World!
  • TestBox: Getting started with BDD-TDD Oh My!

Help us decide on the other workshops

With a new venue, we have different spaces than in previous years at Into the Box, we will be hosting at least 5 workshops, and we're trying to secure space for an additional 1 or 2. So we have confirmed the first 4 workshops, but we have 3 other great workshops, that we can't decide on to take the final spot(s)

Reach out to us on Twitter @OrtusSolutions or @GoIntotheBox to tell us which workshop you want to see added to Into the Box 2022

  • CommandBox CLI Scripting/Productivity
  • Up and Running with Quick
  • VueJs SPA and Mobile App with Rest APIs

Legacy Code Conversion To The Modern World!

This one-day workshop will focus on converting legacy .cfm based sites into a more modern coding design that has less overall code, is easier to maintain and manage, mistakes and errors can be more readily and speedily identified and fixed, and is easier to read.
